We wanted to alert you of an upcoming recruitment opportunity that might benefit numerous unemployed or underemployed members in your ward or stake. A recruiter (Chris Brucheit) from MagRabbit will attend our next Career Networking Meet-up on Thursday, August 4th at 9 a.m. at the Rutherford Lane Chapel (1000 Rutherford Lane in Austin). His company places assembly line and call center workers with Dell, and they anticipate needing about 300 workers in the next several weeks for a nine-month project at hourly wages (slightly more than $10 per hour).
The assembly line positions will last through the project timeline only, but call center positions are considered ‘temp to hire,’ and can lead to fulltime work and advancement. MagRabbit also recruits for other firms, so there are numerous opportunities available for these types of candidates.
Please inform members who might be interested in this opportunity about the August 4th networking meeting and encourage them to attend. We also have current, real-time leads and information on numerous other job and career opportunities, ranging from entry-level or unskilled positions to openings for highly experienced professionals. Our missionary staff will help identify appropriate openings for your members and assist them in being prepared for the application and interview process.
