 For the past 5 years, I have been the director of a children's performing group called Sunshine Generation.  It is a non-audition international singing and dancing group for children ages 3-18.  The music covered is a variety of classics, oldies, country, Broadway, children's songs, and hip-hop; and there is a holiday show every year.  I was in the group for five years as a girl, then I started the group again after I graduated college, as it had left the area.  

 It is a perfect after-school extracurricular activity for a teacher as well as the students.  It can also provide a little extra income while being your own boss  If you are single or a newlywed, it's a wonderfully fun job.  If you have children 3 years old or older, it's perfect since they can be in it as well.  Then you could see your own children as well as others blossom with the talent of music!  But really, anyone who is fond of music and looking to add to their income would benefit greatly.  And if you own a home, you would be spared the expense of renting a studio, as it is perfectly appropriate to hold classes in your home at convenient times.
