Free Education!

Did you know you now have an option for higher education that doesn't cost you anything? What started as a project by a couple of universities is now mushrooming into a world-wide movement. Many institutions of higher education around the globe, including well-known colleges and universities have started a movement to provide free education to the masses. That's right FREE! The primary goal is to offer college education to non-degree seeking populations from anywhere in the world. While you cannot generally earn credit for these "open" courses, there are a few colleges that do offer tuition-paying students the option to earn credits by completing certain course-related projects online. Even corporations are entering the arena and offering free access to some of their educational tools and resources

So, if your goal is to simply learn and develop yourself (rather than obtain a degree), your options now include access to FREE courseware materials from top institutions, including American universities such as Harvard, Yale, Stanford, MIT, Notre-Dame, and Johns Hopkins, as well as educational and training resources from companies like IBM. See the links below for more information. The first link is the most comprehensive and includes all the other links below it.

Have fun learning!
